Aloo chole recipe / dhaba style aloo chole / आलू छोले रेसिपी

Hello friends, today's video recipe is authentic dhaba style aloo chhole. Potato - chickpeas curry . The speciality of this recipe is, it is made using the Basic chop masala gravy I uploaded recently. If we have chop masala gravy or the cubes and boiled chickpeas ready then this curry is only matter of ten minutes. Do try the recipe and let me know your take on it. INGREDIENTS / सामग्री 250 gms.(1 &1/4 cup) chickpeas /garbanzo beans / २५० ग्राम काबुली चने 250 gms. potatoes / २५० ग्राम आलू 1 &1/2 tsp. salt / १ + १/२ टीस्पून नमक 3 & 1/2 cups water / ३+ १/२ कप पानी Ingredients for chole /chhole/ सामग्री छोले बनाने की boiled chickpea - potatoes / उबले हुए काबुली चने - आलू 2 & 1/2 cups stock reserved after boiling /चनो का उबला पानी २+ १/२ कप 2 Tbsp. oil / २ टेबल स्पून तेल 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds / १/२ टीस्पून ज़ीरा 1/4 tsp. asafoetida / १/४ टीस्पून हींग 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder / १/४ टीस्पून हल्दी पाउडर 1 Tbsp. kashmiri red chilli powder / १ टेबलस्पून कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर 1 cup (200 gms. )Basic chop masala https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPzJ3... / १ कप बेसिक चॉप मसाला ग्रेवी 1 Tbsp. chhole masala or Everest chhole masala / १ टेबल स्पून छोले मसाला 1 &1/4 tsp. salt / १+ १/४ टीस्पून नमक 1 Tbsp. dried fenugreek leaves / kasoori methi / १ टेबल स्पून क़सूरी मेथी 1/2 tsp. chaat masala /dried mango powder / १/२ टीस्पून चाट मसाला या अमचूर पाउडर 1 Tbsp. fresh coriander leaves / १ टेबल स्पून हरा धनिया Ingredients for Oil layer / तरी / रोगन की सामग्री 2 Tbsp. oil / २ टेबल स्पून तेल 1 tsp. kashmiri red chilli powder / १ टीस्पून कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर

Basic chop masala gravy/ frozen gravy cubes /





Basic chop masala gravy is very useful and time saving indian gravy for working people or bachelors, who do not have much time for cooking meals. This is a multipurpose gravy and can be used in curries, subzis, pulav- biriyani, or stufffing for sandwiches and all. This can be easily frozen and used later. Friends do try the recipe and comment about your experience. All the ingredients including salt is measured to help budding cooks and new comers.


INGREDIENTS:/ सामग्री 500 gms. - onions/५०० ग्राम प्याज़ 500 gms. - tomatoes/ ५०० ग्राम टमाटर 30 gms. - garlic minced/ ३० ग्राम लहसून 15 gms. -ginger minced/ १५ ग्राम अदरक 6 - 7 Tbsp. - oil / ६-७ टेबलस्पून तेल 1 tsp. cumin seeds / १ टीस्पून. ज़ीरा 4 -5 cloves / ४-५ लौंग 2 nos. black cardamom / २ मसाला ईलाईची 2 nos. bay leaves / २ तेज पत्ता 1 no. Star anise / १ बादीयान / चक्रीफ़ूल 2 " cinnamon stick / २ “ दालचीनी 1/2 Tbsp. spicy red chilli powder / १/२ टेबलस्पून तीखी मिर्च पाउडर 2 Tbsp. kashmiri red chilli powder / २ टेबलस्पून कश्मीरी मिर्च पाउडर 3/4 tsp. turmeric powder / ३/४ टीस्पून हल्दी पाउडर 1Tbsp. coriander -cumin powder / १ टेबलस्पून धनिया - जीरा पाउडर 1 Tbsp. kitchen king masala powder / १ टेबलस्पून सब्ज़ी मसाला 1 &1/2 tsp. levelled salt / १ + १/२ टीस्पून नमक 1Tbsp. dried fenugreek /kasoori methi / १ टेबलस्पून क़सूरी मेथी 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder / १/२ टीस्पून. गरम मसाला पाउडर Enjoy!!

Coconut chikki -lonavala style recipe

Ingredients:

1&1/3 cup dessicated coconut (100 gms.) 1/4 cup chikki jaggery (50 gms.) 1/4 cup sugar (50gms.) 1/4 cup water (50ml.) 1TBSP.glucose syrup /karo corn syrup 1/4tsp. elaichi powder (cardamom powder) 1tsp. ghee to grease the surface and rolling pin.

1/2 cup flatten rice (poha)-25 gms.can use leftover rice instead
1/2 tsp.turmeric (haldi) powder
1&1/2 tsp. salt
2-3TBSP.sugar (for authentic taste add 3TBSP.)can use jaggery instead
1 TBSP whole coriander seeds (pounded)
1/2 TBSP. red chilli powder
1/2 TBSP.dhana jeera powder(coriander cumin powder)
1/2 TBSP.sesame seeds (til)
1/4 tsp. ajwain (carom seeds)
1/4 cup yoghurt or water
3 TBSP.oil +1 TBSP. to grease

Ingredients for tadka:

2TBSP. oil
1/2 TBSP. mustard seeds
1/2 TBSP. sesame seeds
1/4 tsp.ajwain
1 no. red chilli broken
1/4 tsp. asafotida (hing)
